Black Rebel Motorcycle Club

Black Rebel Motorcycle ClubFew bands survive the highs and lows that Black Rebel Motorcycle Club have. Even fewer come out the other side sounding quite so defiant. New album ‘Baby 81’ is splattered with classic US garage rock, hearty doses of shoegazing nonchalance and proto-metal drumming. Certain to be a blinder.

Paolo NutiniUntil 2003, Scottish-born Paolo Nutini was convinced he was going to end up working for his dad’s fish and chip shop business in Paisley. A chance happening at a David Sneddon concert changed all that.

A fellow audience member, who happened to work for a record company, was gobsmacked enough to immediately offer to manage Paolo.
